Travelogue: Lombok (Day 3)

On the third day in Lombok, Monique and I went straight to the beach early in the morning. We were going to check out of the hotel in the afternoon, so we didn't want to waste too much time in our room. We were sun-basking, strolling down the Putri Nyale beach, took some pictures and enjoyed the view one last time. We came into an agreement that we have to come back some time in the future to explore the Kuta area. We failed to visit the gorgeous Tanjung Aan which only 10 minutes away from our hotel.
Mother Ox and little Ox greeted us "Good Morning". But little Ox was scared of me ):

My jelly sandals loves the sun!

Beach huts and beach chair lounges.

The beach at 8 AM.

Loving the view!

Monique's RayBan and my Rayban love to hang out at the beach too!

Just the two of us at the beach! So nice!

We love you beach!

The sun finally came! Yay sun-basking time!

Gimme some tan!

Strolling down the beach one last time before going back to Senggigi Area.

Footprints.

Can I stay a bit longer?

I love the very soft sand!
Getting comfortable with the sand!

Some of the friendly hotel staffs.

Said goodbye to our beach volleyball teammates! ((:
So after checking out of the hotel, we took another taxi ride to Senggigi area and stayed at Holiday Resort Lombok for 2 nights. The hotel is too Bali-like, I didn't feel like I was in Lombok at all. Anyhoo, they have a big and lovely swimming pool, lovely sunset view (only 10 minutes walk from Qunci Villas where I stayed 2 days ago) and close access to the Gilis.  Gili Trawangan is our Day 4 destination. So when we arrived there, Jonah joined us and we just spent the day relaxing and had local cuisine, Ayam Taliwang, for dinner. Preparing ourselves for tomorrow!
