Fabulous Friday Finds

via Lucy Laucht (one of my favorite accounts on instagram)

Well hello darlings!

How I've missed blogging. I am estatic that I could squeeze some time for blogging, simply because it is difficult (for me) to maintain the consistency of a blog. When I have free time I usually just grab my cellphone and then scrolling down my instagram feed, where I'm following more than 800 accounts and most of them to me are inspiring and fascinating. The people I know personally on instagram probably around 150, the rest 650s are strangers and I love it. These beautiful strangers are husky owners (my favorite!), my favorite bloggers, famous people, home and interior inspiration, travel-related accounts, brands I love, online stores and people who take amazing photos.

I must admit, instagram is without a doubt, my favorite social media platform. What is yours?

But anyways, here are some links I found this week (and the weeks before *teehee!) for us to enjoy and to keep on our browser bookmark!

Zee Avi launched a new album, get it now! I adore this album!

I want to try them on my nails!

Indonesian Legislative Election 2014

I cast my vote on these four folded papers.

My parents also voted today.

Today my family and I (minus le husband because he went flying an airplane) exercised our rights as Indonesian citizens to vote on this election day. The right to vote is a privilege, we participate in our society and help to determine our future. I will not let this privilege go to waste by promising myself to vote in every election and have a say in how my beloved country, province and city are run.

I believe every Indonesian citizen have to vote even if it means voting between the lesser of two evils. Failure to vote results in the system being dominated only by those who are strongly motivated by some idea (getting themselves rich or have power) and extremism of all forms holds much largel influence than belief in those issues actually has. The system becomes corrupted because people refure to take responsibility for fixing it. People must vote if you want a functional system.

But remember, change does not come overnight. If more people vote, then slowly we will get better quality politicians. Let's get exactly the kind of politician we deserve.

Monday ManiPedi: Monochrome

After a few months rest from nail polish, my nails are finally back in (basic) colors. For the comeback I chose to do something easy and pretty basic monochrome design. I love the end result eventhough in the process I realized that my skill in creating nail art is degrading. I need to practice more.
