Remember this post?

I, the TV shows enthusiast, hereby sharing you the new TV shows to watch this year...

1. Revolution.
So far I'm loving it and it's like the combination of Lost, Flash Forward and The Hunger Games. Gotta love J. J. Abrams!

Helloooo... it's Mindy Kaling, everyone! What's not to love!

3. Last Resort.
I just like this type of storyline.

4. Made In Jersey.
A little more fun version of "The Good Wife".

5. Partners.
Funny show and Brandon Routh!

I have a soft spot for detective stories.

And returning shows I love:

2 Broke Girls
How I Met Your Mother
New Girl
Once Upon A Time
Downton Abbey
Revenge
The Good Wife
Homeland
CSI (all of them)
Castle
The Amazing Race

Banana Republic: Mad Men

Kill me now. A Mad Men-inspired clothing collection, designed by Janie Bryant (Mad Men's stylist!!!), has now launched with retailer Banana Republic. How am I supposed to resist this? Evil. Ugh... maybe just one dress or one cig pant or one jacket or...

The Kennedy's

I really want to watch "The Kennedy's". I'm so intrigued to see how Katie Holmes pulls off playing Jacqueline Kennedy. I've always been interested with the Kennedys and of course, Jackie. I love them. Already read one of their (JFK & Jackie's) biographies and couple of documentaries, but I want to see more. Especially this one. Are you as excited as I am?

24: Season 8 - fin

Oh nooo!!! I just read it on the internet, fox confirmed that Season 8 is 24's last season. They're stopping my 24! *crying out loud*

Read the article below:

'24' Canceled -- Jack Bauer's Last Day!

After eight seasons, Fox has decided to cancel 24!!!
Series star Kiefer Sutherland reflected on the show’s run: “This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible. While the end of the series is bittersweet, we always wanted 24 to finish on a high note, so the decision to make the eighth season our last was one we all agreed upon. This feels like the culmination of all our efforts from the writers to the actors to our fantastic crew and everyone at Fox. Looking ahead to the future, [executive producer and showrunner] Howard Gordon and I are excited about the opportunity to create the feature film version of 24. But when all is said and done, it is the loyal worldwide fan base that made it possible for me to have the experience of playing the role of Jack Bauer, and for that I am eternally grateful.”
Gordon told Variety, “Kiefer and me and the writers had (a decision to make). What’s the creative? What do we do? Is there any more story left to be told in this 24-hour format? We turned over every stone, and really determined that the story has come to an end in this 24-hour format.”
24 regular Mary Lynn Rajskub confirmed the news, tweeting, “Just found out we got the word officially. This is 24’s last season.”
The final two-hour episode will air May 24. Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Favorite TV Show of All-Time?

Well that's an impossible question to answer. Now that TV Shows are part of everyone's life, I decided to blog about this particular topic. Based on my Twitter timeline (oh my... twitter does come in handy, doesn't it?), Glee is now everyone's favorite TV show. Everyone except me. Don't get me wrong, I love musicals like The Sound of Music, Grease... yet Highschool Musical and Glee aren't really my cup of tea. I don't know why but I just don't enjoy watching them. If you think you have the same taste of TV shows as yours truly, please continue reading this post because I'm about to reveal my favorites ;) If not, feel free to read other posts. *wink*

  • These are the TV shows that I watch and totally love: 24, How I Met Your Mother, Brothers and Sisters, V, Flashforward, Private Practice, The Amazing Race, Mad Men, Top Chef Master, CSI (All of them), Castle.
  • And these are the TV shows that I still watch... just because : Gossip Girl, Melrose Place, 90210, Desperate Housewives, Heroes and American Idol.
  • TV shows already ended and were loved by me: Prison Break, Entourage and Sex and the City.
  • TV shows I can't stand, only watch couple eps / 1 season (2 seasons max) and then, that was it! : Lost, Weeds, The Office, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, America's Next Top Model, Glee, Californication, Chuck.
  • TV shows that stopped but I think they should continue : The Legend of the Seeker, Privileged, Cashmere Mafia. (But I heard they're continuing The Legend of the Seeker, is it trueee? yay)
  • TV Shows I'm looking forward to watch this year: The Good Wife and I'm With the Band: Confessions of a Groupie (Zooey is in it!)

If we have the same taste, I bet you'd love my choices :) Enjoy the shows.

Loving How I Met Your Mother

*singing* Paaap papappappaaa papapapaaa-paaa tarararararararaaaaaaa

HIMYM definitely my kinda tv show :) It has a mixture of comedy, romance and sometimes serious things as well. Maybe it won't be for some people.. but for me, it's something I can re-watch over and over again and still laugh like crazy.

I think it has to do with the classic-ness of it all. Most tv shows now are driven towards a certain angle (*cough*fashion*cough*vampires*cough*) it's not that i hate those tv shows, I don't.. I still watch them because they are still entertaining.

I love you Ted, Barney, Robin, Lily and Marshall! You guys rooockkk! They're my "new bestfriends"... yet Rachel, Monica, Ross, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey will always be special in my heart. Aawww...
