an odd pair
These two photos has nothing to do with one another and they were both taken at completely different times. Don't ask me why but.. I felt like pairing them together. It's my Audrey Hepburn DVD Collection and for those who are wondering what that fish thing is, it's actually a korean ice cream. The inside is filled with vanilla ice cream and red bean. I happen to like very much and have like 3 of them in my fridge at this very moment :)
It is so hard for me to find Audrey Hepburn DVDs in Indonesia. Most of shown above, I bought them abroad. Since I just posted the ones I have... and not to mention my birthday is coming :D , I hope one of you readers miraculously have this sudden urge of wanting to give me birthday present! (The ones I dont have yet of course) - teehee! *half serious, half joking* ;p
Toodles! xo

Raindrops Keep On Falling...
It's been pouring lately. I like it. But it does get pretty scary sometimes for my dogs, the lightning thunder and all. The best way to spend a rainy day is by staying at home with my husband and my dogs, drinking some tea, blog, read good books and watch a few dvds. That is my definition of a perfect rainy day :)
I posted "facts of tea" below. I actually researched it on google (not that it's that hard! but still, the effort counts :p). I AM A TEA PERSON. Coffee just not my thing(I used to love coffee, yet after quitting at this coffee company... my love for coffee also got flushed down the drain - traumatized maybe? I actually had at least 15 cups of coffee per day at work) I think my favorite kind of tea is green tea and earl grey. I used to like jasmine tea but I got bored of it. But i still have it once in a while. So, what's your favorite kind of tea?

Michael Oher
Last night I watched a movie called "The Blind Side", based on an extraordinary true story about Samaritan-ism, humanism, kindness, love and brotherhood. Cut story short, I was so touched (i don't cry usually).
It's about Michael Oher. Check out this article and you'll find out why I'm so amazed with story.
I hope one day, I get to help people like Michael Oher. God bless the Touhy family.

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God ... Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us."

Nine Words Women Use
1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the football before helping around the house.
3. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!
4. A Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer quickly to No 9 for the meaning of nothing.)
5. That’s Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
6. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you’re welcome. (I want to add a clause here - This is true, unless she says ‘Thanks a lot’, which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say ‘you’re welcome’ - that will bring on No. 7).
7. Whatever: Is a woman’s way of saying, “F— YOU!”
8. Don’t worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to No. 4.
9. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in “Fine”.
Note from yours truly, I stumbled upon this article while browsing the www. I found it very amusing and... surprisingly true. HAHAHAHA... Hubby dearest, please read this article and maybe next time, you'll understand me better :D

It's Complicated
Officially my fav movie for 2010 so far :D Must looove Nancy Meyers. She never fails to amaze me.
Alec Baldwin, wow, glad to see Steve Martin is back, and Meryl Streep, what part can't that woman play. Great fun! I absoulutely love everything about it from the actors, writing & music was stupendous! Just like I love Father of The Bride I & II, Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, The Parent Trap (ohhh I'm basically mentioned movies produced and written by Nancy Meyers. I love her so much, God bless her. I'm a Romance Comedy junkie. There I said it! :p Eventhough it's a bit different compared with (500) Days of Summer *the best drama in 2010 --- best sci-fi of course Avatar, followed by Star Trek* , yet I'm so in love with this movie. The one with middle aged people & shows there can still be a flame no matter your age! Kudos to everyone involved making this movie!
I first watched this movie yesterday, and todaaay... I watched it twice! :) Highly recommended, if you have the same taste as yours truly.
Check out their website, classy & entertaining. It's complicated !!!

*singing* Paaap papappappaaa papapapaaa-paaa tarararararararaaaaaaa
HIMYM definitely my kinda tv show :) It has a mixture of comedy, romance and sometimes serious things as well. Maybe it won't be for some people.. but for me, it's something I can re-watch over and over again and still laugh like crazy.
I think it has to do with the classic-ness of it all. Most tv shows now are driven towards a certain angle (*cough*fashion*cough*vampires*cough*) it's not that i hate those tv shows, I don't.. I still watch them because they are still entertaining.
I love you Ted, Barney, Robin, Lily and Marshall! You guys rooockkk! They're my "new bestfriends"... yet Rachel, Monica, Ross, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey will always be special in my heart. Aawww...
