Fabulous Friday Finds

via Miguel Palomar

Hello darlings!

So this weekend I'm going to just chill and watch Olympic matches (you can also watch the matches on youtube.com btw) at home. This Olympic has this effect on me, I'm going to find out where I stand, speed-wise, in 100m sprints and also 400m sprints. I've always been the fastest runner in school since I was a little girl and my last sprint was back in 2006 at my office's sporting event. I won easily, not exaggerating but if you've seen Secretariat historic win, the situation was exactly like that, only I was the Secretariat. *smugface* LOL! But as I'm getting older *sigh* I'm a bit skeptical that I'm still as fast as I used to be. Fact: I have never lost to girls / women, I only lost once to a man (my cousin Marcel, who runs as fast as a Cheetah).

Lately I've been practicing a little with my huskies Chewy and Lowy but they always win! (;

Oh well, I hope I could record my time sometime soon. I understand Olympic sprinters run in about the 10-11 second range, I know I'm definitely not in their league, but it would be nice to know my own speed record. I'll update you guys the result soon! (:

While we're at this Olympics topic, take a look at these hilarious Olympic divers moment on Zindy's blog. ((:

I need to master this before my Lombok trip.

'til next week! kiss!

Path To Inner Peace

via Pinterest

This quote is very true. I've been applying this to my life, hence my abandoned twitter account, instagram account and path account. I honestly can't find inner peace if I keep on checking my old twitter feed / old instagram feed / old path feed since there are too many dramas... so I simply "ignore" them. For me, it's a blessing not to know any gossip / ill behavior / when some people are spreading negative vibes. Do you any of you ever feel the same way? Or am I the only weird anti-social gal in the whole wide world? And if I'm bringing the negative vibe by blogging this post (I know I am), just do what I usually do, ignore! (;

Love you my darling readers! Please keep in mind that I will not abandon this blog, I will keep on blogging until the end of my life. Because this blog is one of my paths to inner peace. (:

PS: Since I have big love for instagram, few months ago I created new instagram account where I don't follow anyone (not even my husband) and no one follows me. I love it. However, since my blog readers are my favorite people, you can see my instagram feed here or just look at the slideshow on top right corner of this blog. But please don't follow my instagram account! LOL ((; I don't share all of my pics, eventhough most of them I share with everyone but I keep private few of my photos for some reasons. I still need privacy of course. (;

Love Story: Audrey Hepburn & Robert Wolders

This is a total re-post from one of my favorite blogs: { this is glamorous } 's

which I ABSOLUTELY ADORE! Eventhough I already know Audrey Hepburn's stories by heart, but this is my first time seeing photos of La Paisible, Audrey's estate in Switzerland. Her favorite place to be with her family and the place where she took her last breath.

Beautiful post. Great job, { this is glamorous } ! Giving link to this post is not enough, I simply have to repost because it's about Audrey Hepburn!!!

Companion : /kəmˈpanjən/ one that is closely connected with another

A waifish figure and large, brown, doe-like eyes; a tiny, cinched in waist and sweet, elfin features; a willowy dancer's body, slight but strong from years of ballet training—always graceful and ever ladylike—it is difficult to believe that this beautiful woman, both inside and out, would wait almost her entire life to find true love but—when she did find it, it was truly great .

Yes, But No

I stumbled upon this funny tumblr blog few months ago and loving it a lot. Remember this post? I'm thinking to print some of these, frame them and put them on my wall. Here are some of my favorites...

Hair Tutorials

One of my favorite bloggers, Joanna Goddard, been posting quite a lot hair tutorials. Very useful when you have medium to long hair and completely useless for a girl who just cut her hair rather short (read: yours truly).

Speaking of which, I originally wanted a pixie cut. I really really really wanted a pixie cut. And I’ve heard numerous things from numerous people, most of them had this "disapproving" look on their faces. I have rather chubby cheeks and a square jaw and not a very pointy chin. I love Jessica Stroup’s pixie cut. I think it’d suit me much better, especially since I’d love to style it. 10 minutes before cutting my hair, my husband forbade me to do pixie cut *supersadface*. He doesn't want his hair longer than mine. Gah!!! So, my hair now is just plain classic short bob, the shortest I could get. Boo! I hope someday he'd change his mind!! *fingerscrossed* #istillhavehope #believe.

Back to topic, hair tutorials... so I'm going to try these chic hairstyles once my hair grows long (again)! What do you think? Which one your favorite?
