Australian Open 2024 Women Kit

As an avid tennis fan, I love a good tennis kit on players. For this season, Australian Open Grand Slam of 2024, I have a few favourites. I'm a simple girl and I like simple outfits so these two steal my attention. 

1. Anna Kalinskaya in Adidas. In singles matches she wears the Adidas dress, but the kit I love is the one she wears in her doubles matches. It's a two-piece kit, both in "Green Spark" colourway : a tank top and a high-waisted shorts. This kit is up high on my wish list because honestly I can see myself wearing this outift. It's so me. Should I add to cart?

2. Emma Raducanu & Mirra Andreeva in Nike. This outfit looks so cute, I like this dress and the colourway suits both Emma and Mirra nicely. I don't know if pale yellow looks good on me, but I'm interested.

Biweekly Playlist

Hello darlings, I'm going to share my music playlist fortnightly. I was planning to share my playlist on weekly basis but I tend to listen my current favourite song(s) on repeat mode for a while for more than a week. 

I love music and I want to remember the songs I love, so future me can easily find the song title. The songs I'm going to share not necessarily new released songs, they could be from last year or 5 years ago or even 30 years ago. I just listen to songs I'm attracted to. Not only listing the songs that I am currently listening to, I also will describe the reason why if there's any. 

So without further ado, here's my music playlist:

Northern Lights (Satin Jackets, David Harks) - my recently deceased friend Maliki introduced this song to me and my husband a few years back. This was after he attended Satin Jackets' dj set at Kudeta Bali and took a photo together. I fell in love with the song immediately and this week I go back listening to this song because this song brings happy memories with Maliki. Rest in Peace, Mal. 

Nirwana (Adikara Fardy) - I'm a fan of Adikara's voice and this song has soothing melodies.

Well hello darlings! 

I'm back with listing interesting stuffs I stumbled upon recently. 

Since I have lost both of my Siberian Husky in 2022 (I didn't lose them at the same time, this is a story for another time when I'm ready), I'm still obsessing over Siberian Husky items. Such as this one and this one who looks like Chewy also this one and this one who looks like Lowy. 

But I also love this tiger bricks. 

Such GORGEOUS Christmas trees! I'm In love, love, love! 

I'm a fan of impressionism style paintings, Van Gogh obviously my ultimate favourite. But for living artist, I love Erin Hanson's paintings. They're beautiful and she creates mosaics of bold and soft colours that beautifully capture the patterns and textures of her objects in each paintings. 

As recreational tennis player, this Adidas tennis shoes look comfortable and have cute colourway (my colours).

This wedding dress is so extra (in a good way).

Hello 2024!

Apparently this is the year I'm back blogging. We'll see how this goes. 

2024 didn't start well for me. On second day of 2024, a dear friend of mine passed away at the age 43. Needless to say, I was devastated. My husband have been crying for few days straight, my friends who were also close with the deceased are still in shock. So young, had the world at his feet and had the kindest heart. Rest in peace, old friend. You'll be missed, always. 

Sixth day of 2024 marked the second year my little girl (my Siberian Husky) crossed the rainbow bridge. That day I grieved for both my late little girl and my late friend. I will write on this blog the whole chronology of how she passed, not because I still want to grief but I want to remember. I don't ever want to forget her, I'll keep her in my memories forever. 

I no longer have New Year's resolutions since 7 years ago, I just let every year make its way and surrender to God. This year won't be any different, I believe, everything that's going to happen is within God's beautiful plan for me. God is good. No matter how good or bad the year started, may the blessings and protections of God be with you all year long.

Well hello darlings! 

How I've missed blogging. I am estatic that I could squeeze some time for blogging, simply because it is difficult (for me) to maintain the consistency of a blog. When I have free time I usually just grab my cellphone and then scrolling down my instagram feed, where I'm following more than 800 accounts and most of them to me are inspiring and fascinating. The people I know personally on instagram probably around 150, the rest 650s are strangers and I love it. After a few months rest from nail polish, my nails are finally back in (basic) colors. For the comeback I chose to do something easy and pretty basic monochrome design. I love the end result eventhough in the process I realized that my skill in creating nail art is degrading. I need to practice more.

I've been busy taking care of business that my cousins and I just started. Fabulous Friday Finds: Our Fifth Anniversary

Well hello darlings!

Above image was my creation and my first attempt doing calligraphy / typography or whatever it is called. I know it is very messy and way imperfect yet I'm quite proud of myself! I think I want to learn how to do it beautifully and in the right way with the right tools. Let's see if I could find the place or tutor for calligraphy in Jakarta. I am beyond interested! I used a pencil only (nope, no brushes nor ink pens just yet) and didn't actually plan to write my husband's and my name, however when I was done, I thought this would be very fitting with today's Fabulous Friday Finds theme...

Fabulous Friday Finds

A lot has happened in 2013.

Just to name a few: my husband finished his flying school, my husky Lowy's eye worsened due to glaucoma, my dear aunt Lientje Worang Sakaguchi passed away, went traveling to Singapore (again and again) and to Japan, Jonah got his dream job (as a pilot of course) at our flag-carrier national airline, ran my first 5K with Jonah and that I've also grown a lot as a person and more confident than ever of who I am; that I am deeply loved by Jesus. 

Basically there is a lot more to write here and I seriously could turn this into a very long post - but needless to say the year 2013 was unforgettable and life-changing. I know Jonah and I are on the right track and that Jesus holds our future. I learn to take each day at a time and not let tomorrow's worry rob me of today's peace and joy.

IU - The Red Shoes

She's one of my favorite K-Pop Singers and I especially love her new album Modern Times. Words can't describe how amazing this album is, it encompasses an eclectic mix of my favorite genres: Swing Jazz, Bossanova, Latin Pop, etc. In other words, just my kind of music.
