Fabulous Friday Finds

credit to DIY Darling

Well hello darlings!

I'm back with listing interesting stuffs I stumbled upon recently.

Since I have lost both of my Siberian Husky in 2022 (I didn't lose them at the same time, this is a story for another time when I'm ready), I'm still obsessing over Siberian Husky items. Such as this one and this one who looks like Chewy also this one and this one who looks like Lowy.

But I also love this tiger bricks.

Such GORGEOUS Christmas trees! I'm In love, love, love!

I'm a fan of impressionism style paintings, Van Gogh obviously my ultimate favourite. But for living artist, I love Erin Hanson's paintings. They're beautiful and she creates mosaics of bold and soft colours that beautifully capture the patterns and textures of her objects in each paintings.

As recreational tennis player, this Adidas tennis shoes look comfortable and have cute colourway (my colours).

This wedding dress is so extra (in a good way).

I'm a sucker for espionage novels. If you're like me, check out this list

I'm so ready for this event. Who are you rooting for?

Another great actor passed away, rest in peace Adan. He was great in Designated Survivor tv show!

This great news making me smile ear to ear.

'til next week! Toodles!

Be A Hero For Animals

It's official. I'm going to put a bowl of water in front of my house and will keep it full. And now I would like to encourage you to do the same. Let's save the animals!

ps. If you happen to live in Jakarta, love huskies and can adopt a pair of (already neutered) huskies... please adopt Bentley and Mercy. Please, please, please don't let them live in separate houses and please love them unconditionally! God knows how much I want to adopt them but sadly can't... )':

Chewy & Lowy on Instagram!

Two days ago, I submitted a photo of Chewy & Lowy to Dogs of Instagram account. To my surprise, they uploaded the photo last night on their instagram account!!!

Here are my iPhone's screenshots from that night...

This notification from @dogsintagram made me jumped out of the bed and screamed happily!
Dogs of Instagram profile on instagram.
201 people liked the photo within 15 minutes.
Then Chewy & Lowy's pic made it to the popular page!
The Popular Page!
When I woke up this morning and checked the instagram, Chewy & Lowy's pic was still on popular page! Yay!
My computer's printscreen 5 minutes ago. 1900 people liked the photo and around 60 people left lovely comments! Those small things they did, take up the most room in my heart.
I'm making a big deal out of this, I know. But I have my reasons.

First, I love Chewy and Lowy very much. They're my pride and joy. And the world needs to know that these two amazing huskies exist! I'm a proud mama, what can I say?

Second, This started of as me showing off my beautiful and expressive-in-front-of-the-camera huskies. But then... someone who saw their pic on dogsofinstagram account left me a comment on my instagram account that touched my heart. This is what she wrote:

This insignificant / silly thing I did apparently managed to give other people something money can't buy. To be able giving people strength / happiness / comfort they need is priceless! This is something that I want to do constantly. But of course I will find another way that does not involve me showing off my huskies' pics (;

It's great if you are always striving to find the way to make your mark, to make a difference and to leave the greatest impact on other people, animals and the environment.  By doing great efforts and accomplishments, because you have been trained to believe that only the bigness of effort and outcome is what is important.

But always remember to consider the small things. They will not necessarily make you as one of those admirable CNN heroes finalists, but they will make a big difference in other people's life - not to mention yours. Let us do the small loving things daily in a conscious way, as I'm sure they will certainly add up to greatness overall.

Just like Vincent van Gogh once said, "Great things are not done by impulse but by a series of small things brought together."

My Babies' Favorite Chew Toy

Thanks to my sister-in-law, Monique, for recommending this Kong toy to me. Monique has the small blue kong for her Chihuahua (Meci) and sometimes it's being used by Anti's Maltese (Cathie). I bought 2 Kongs instantly for Chewy & Lowy. Kong keeps your dog busy for an hour or two. At least Chewy and Lowy are now rarely chewing on my parents' furniture :) We'll see for how long.

So Kelly Bag's Printed Ad

via Google/imagesearch

My favorite commercial ever!!! Because of those Siberian Huskies and the cute husky pup tucked into the So Kelly Bag. My parents showed me this ad last week, they said: “If you have to choose, the pup or the bag. Which one will it be? Because we are sure you can’t pick either one.” Ha-ha, very fun mom, dad. But they know me so well. I can’t. I want both of them equally :D

When it comes to capturing the season, few ads do it as well as the latest Hermes commercial. It’s all snow, ice, and luxurious furs in this celebration of wintery weather! Well in my opinion, Hermes always has the best commercials.

Sweden’s Ice Hotel is the ideal backdrop for this frosty photo shoot. The white snow ensures that scarlet alligator So Kelly bag pops, and Raquel Zimmerman’s dewy skin glows against her dark furry hood.
